Carpet Repairs

I improve the look and feel of old, tired and worn-out carpets using either a patch fix and/or re-tufting method to achieve a seamless repair.

I’ll normally use a donor piece of carpet to restore the part of the fabric that’s been damaged. I can find a suitable donor cut inside the floor space of a closet or wardrobe; I can source a piece from under a bed, sofa or other piece of furniture; or I can use off cuts from the original installation.

​

If a piece of donor carpet cannot be found, all is not lost! I may be able to repair the damage using a re-tufting process. These tufts can be taken from around the room without it being noticeable. The result is an invisible repair to your carpet that can be regularly vacuumed and deep cleaned as normal.
